Area Restaurants Break Out Their Recipes for This Potluck

For those of you who have been wondering what SweetBread Jim’s band has been up to lately, look around as you go into your favorite Columbia Heights, Petworth, or Shaw eatery and you might just find out. SweetBread Jim’s has been collecting the best and brightest of DC’s local talent and cuisine in the SweetBread Jim’s Potluck Spectacular! held the evening of Saturday, August 11, 2012 at St. Stephens and the Incarnation from 7-10 pm.

Among the ragtag crew of performers will be MC extraordinaire  Mab just Mab, Music by Star FK Radium and SweetBread Jim’s; Burlesque by Pria Puss; Comedy by Sampson; Magic by Benjamin Corey and who knows how much more craziness will ensue while the audience enjoys an entertaining culinary experience where everything, including the food, is “all part of the act.”  DC’s most up-and-coming restaurants were quick to hop on board when SBJ front-woman and Iowa native Linsay Deming decided to bring the spirit of the heartland to the bustle of the District.

While a ticket to this event will buy you a night of music, dancing and comedy, the audience will enjoy a smorgasbord of potluck dishes from local favorites like Red Rocks Pizza, Mama Chuy DC, Black Strap Baking Co., Columbia Heights Coffee, Le Caprice, Blind Dog Cafe, Pho Viet and more restaurants are hopping on every day.

With the help of, FutureView Inc.,Wonderland Ballroom, Runcible Spoon,  Banished? Productions and W.C.
