>>> Government Employees, this is your lucky day!!   The Melting Pot of D.C. invites federal, state and local employees to kick off their holiday weekend with fondue on October 8, 2010 from 5 pm-10 pm.  Government employees can stop by and get a four-course meal for $25 per person.  This price includes your choice of cheese fondue, salad, and chocolate fondue, with a set Government Appreciation entrées (*teriyaki sirloin, tiger shrimp, chicken and a featured pasta).   Also, attendees may enter to win a $50 gift card by voting for their favorite martini.

>>> I told you about this spot about two months ago, but I’m telling you again:  Go Before You Cannot Get In the Door!  The Tasting Room Wine Bar is my new fetish.  Think the McDonald’s fountain drink station but instead it’s wine…#Win.  This weekend the Wine Bar (*all three locations) will host the Boxwood 2008 Vintage Release Party.  If you like good wine, a relaxed atmosphere and want to collect more knowledge on vino, then mark this down.  If you don’t, then stay home.
