Saturday, May 19 | 6:30 a.m.

·       Guests are invited to don their favorite fascinator hat while watching the historic event experiencing a British breakfast, fit for royals. Sip on prosecco while enjoying traditional British breakfast favorites; morning glory muffins; assortment of croissants; a variety of scones with clotted cream, lemon curd and strawberry jam; Danishes; parfaits; a selection of delectable tartines; a grand royal wedding cupcake display and a special British royal tea selection. $55 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity.

 

Royal Wedding POP-UP BAR

Drink Company has transformed one its bars into a throne room fit for a queen — or an American princess.

The royal wedding of Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle serves as the backdrop for the new limited-run Royal Wedding PUB (1839 7th Street NW), open now through Sunday, May 20.   The Royal Wedding PUB will be decked out in all things royal, from family crests to a throne room inspired by the real thing in Buckingham Palace.  The bar will open early on Saturday, May 19 for wedding watchers to celebrate the ceremony, which begins at 7am ET that day, with 100% of proceeds from ticket sales benefiting The Invictus Games Foundation, for which Prince Harry is a patron.  The Invictus Games is an international sporting event for the wounded, injured and sick Servicemen and women, both serving and veterans.

HOURS: Sunday through Thursday, 5pm to 12:30am; Friday and Saturday, 5pm to 1:30am.
