New Kids on the Block Returns on June 3

New Kitchens On The Block returns to Mess Hall on Sunday, June 3 with two sessions (12-2 p.m. and 3-5 p.m.).  NKOTB allows guests to taste 10 of DC’s most hyped new restaurants before they open.  Guests will have the chance to try signature dishes and drinks from each concept, alongside unlimited beer from Flying Dog Brewery.

Cocktails will be provided by Green Hat Gin and El Silencio Tequila, while Flying Dog Brewery will be pouring two brews.

DNV Rooftop Brunches Return May 12

DNV Rooftop kicks off its 2018 weekend brunch service on Saturday, May 12, Executive Chef Yo Matsuzaki will offer a new seasonal brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays.  Brunch options include a breakfast sandwich with grilled bacon, egg, and cheese, avocado toast with lemon zest and ricotta crumbles on grilled ciabatta bread, and superfood nachos with grilled chicken, chili sauce, avocado, nori, black beans, fried eggs, and melted cheese.

Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., weather permitting. For brunch reservations, call 202.379.4366.

2018 Events DC Embassy Chef Challenge

The 2018 Events DC Embassy Chef Challenge presented by TCMA will showcase flavors and culture from around the world on Thursday, May 17 in the Atrium of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.

DNV Rooftop Pool Parties Return on May 27

Now in its second year, the DNV Rooftop Sunday Pool Parties will again give pool access to both Kimpton Donovan Hotel guests and locals not staying at the hotel every Sunday throughout the summer.  Beginning Memorial Day weekend, the DNV Rooftop pool will be open for swimming and sunning from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The first party in the DNV Rooftop Sunday Pool Parties series will take place on Sunday, May 27. A $10 entry fee is charged at the door for pool party participants. Guests must be 21+ to attend. No reservations are required.
