Toro Toro: On the Run Exec Express Lunch
I was in the mood to have a little variety for lunch and decided to try Toro Toro. I have been there for happy hour and remember the food tasting so good. I chose Toro Toro on this particular day because it was beautiful outside and I knew they had an outdoor patio. It was also perfect for my group because Toro Toro is now offering an Exec Express Lunch Buffet. The buffet features a variety of Pan Latin dishes including various signature salads, ceviche and a carved meat station. Everyone left the restaurant full and satisfied. My favorites were the Avocado Salad with red onion, peppers, olive oil and lemon and the Tomato and Mozzarella Salad with basil, hearts of palm and chipotle-balsamic vinaigrette. All ingredients were so fresh!
Toro Toro offers the Exec Express Lunch Buffet Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For $28 per person, you will receive unlimited trips to the multiple buffets and a choice of soft drink, lemonade or iced tea. Chef’s daily selections include Monday: Adobo Turkey Breast with guajillo chili, cumin and garlic; Tuesday: Chipotle BBQ Pork Shoulder with ancho chili, chipotle and Mexican chocolate; Wednesday: Leg of Lamb with adobo, chimichurri and mint; Thursday: Glazed Pork Ribs with kabayaki, sesame and Chinese five spice, as well as Friday: Achiote Flank Steak with Korean chili, achiote and roasted garlic.
