Summer in the District equals plenty of outdoor activities…with drinks, of course. Marvin is always a good place to stop for a beverage or two and with their summer menu, it should make your roundup. I visited at the top of summer to see what new concoctions they have for #Summer19 and here are three you should try:

Glittery Bitch No. 2: Light with a hint of sweetness, this cocktail packs a nice punch with Tito’s Vodka and Pear Brandy meeting in the glass.
Where’s My Ride?: They had me at the Henn. Hennessy and Grand Marnier make quite the duo in this drink, which is on the heavier side for those that like lighter drinks during the summer. I like a good Old Fashioned and this is most reminiscent of this cocktail on Marvin’s new summer menu.
Heavy Love Affair: This cucumber infused Tanqueray is exactly what is needed after a long, summer day in the office. The minty notes and lime remind me of times spent by the ocean. It is safe to say this is a cocktail that will truly help you escape.
