#TBT: National Harbor Food and Wine Festival
I remember it like it was yesterday. It was the weekend, the sun was shinning, there was a nice breeze coming off of the water and I had an endless supply of wine. You may think I was describing my latest vacation, but I was able to find all of this right in my backyard. Just a few weeks ago, I had my latest “staycation” at the 10th Annual Wine and Food Festival at the National Harbor. There were endless vendors with plenty of wine,, spirits and small bits to sample. I always look forward to this event because it allows me to step out of my comfort zone and try new things. With over 150 local and international wines, beers and spirits, I always walk away discovering my new “favorite”. I am already planning my staycation for next year!
