New Brunch Alert: SEI
New brunch starting this weekend. SEI, the modern Asian restaurant in Washington D.C., will begin serving brunch on Saturday, October 15. Brunch will be available Saturday from 11am-2:30pm and Sunday from 11am-3pm. Deets below:
The restaurant’s brunch menu will be much like its lunch and dinner offerings—Asian cuisine with a modern flair, experimental textural pairings and flavor combinations with classic American brunch dishes from the perspective of chef and sushi master, Noriaki Yasutake. Highlights from the brunch menu include a nectarous 12 Hour Soy French Toast with Yuzu Jelly, Miso Maple and a seasonal Fruit Salad; Tori Katsu (Chicken) Sandwich stacked with Crispy Chicken, Tamagyaki, Lettuce, Chef Nori’s Ketmasu Sauce and served with Tater Tots; Crab Cake Benedict anchored by a Rice Cake instead of the traditional English muffin and topped with Tofu Hash, Poached Eggs and Yuzu Hollandaise. Brunch at SEI also includes the restaurant’s popular selection of signature sushi rolls and specialty Nigiri and Sashimi.
Additionally, SEI will offer guests bottomless mimosas and Yu Yu Marys – bloody marys made with Soy, fresh Lemon and Lime Juice, Wasabi, Schichimi Togarashi spice mixture and Lemongrass Stalks for $16 per person.
