Movie Time…Outdoors.

Summers in the District are made for watching movies under the stars.  That is exactly the reason why so many venues are catching on and hosting their own summer outdoor movie series.  Here are a couple to catch before the heat wave ends:

1.  The fifth outdoor movie this summer from Occidental Grill & Seafood will take place on September 5, 2015 on the outdoor courtyard just off Pennsylvania Avenue with Father Goose.  A 3-course meal is quietly served while you watch the film.  Menus vary with each showing and offer guests a choice of appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Films start at 8:00pm and films begin at 8:30pm.

Price:  $45.00 per person (not inclusive of tax, gratuity, or alcoholic beverages)

2.  The Washington City Paper’s Summer Movie Series finishes up this week, August 13, 2015 with The NeverEnding Story.  The Washington City Paper teamed up with RCN, The Heurich House and Schofferhofer Grapefruit to present its annual Summer Movie Series in the The Heurich House courtyard (1307 New Hampshire Ave, NW).  The doors open at 6 pm and movies start at dusk.  It is FREE and all ages welcome.
WHAT:            On the last Fridays of August, September and October, guests and residents will be invited to the Arts Walk at Monroe Street Market to enjoy “Dinner and a Movie”. Participating restaurants will feature special promotions while a free outdoor movie is shown beginning at dusk. Moviegoers are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair. All guests will receive a free bag of popcorn provided by Monroe Street Market.Restaurant Dinner Deals for August 28 include:
