Blaze Pizza: Worth the Drive.
I visited Blaze Pizza in the newly created Dining Terrace at Montgomery Mall and was impressed with the physical location and the assembly line set up, which is similar to what you would find at Chipotle. With a variety of red sauces and fresh toppings, your imagination can go wild with the broad range of options. Keeping it simple, I had one of their signature pizza’s called White Top, which consisted of a white sauce, mozzarella cheese, bacon, oregano, garlic and arugula. I love that their crust is very thin and the charcoal edges that appear when cooked in a fire burning oven. After finishing my entire pie, I felt satisfied but not stuffed. This spot is definitely a keeper. My own regret is that I didn’t visit sooner. They are opening more locations in the DC Metro area so you can visit them here to find a location close to you.
