Dishes We Love: Chuy’s Chile Relleno
With over 55 locations around the US, Chuy’s brings fresh Mexican fare to Fairfax, Virginia. As I toured the kitchen, I was intrigued at the fact that everything is truly fresh. Nothing is frozen except the ice cream and the kid’s chicken nuggets. How many places can say the only freezer they have is the size of a small box?? Chuy’s is getting fresh deliveries daily. The ambiance is just as fun as the food where each section of the restaurant offers patrons a different theme, with my visit being in the hubcap room. The ceilings are covered in hubcaps from all different kinds of cars.
Enough about the decor, the real reason I visited was for the food. Here a few standout dishes that hit the table:
