Tel’Veh Hummus
If tax season has you rethinking how you distribute your funds and you enjoy after work libations and bites, then you should be happy hour bound. Lucky for those in the District there are endless possibilities for deals and cuisine options. Tel’Veh is one of my faves where the happy hour is Monday through Friday, 4:30 pm-7:30 pm and Saturdays from 5 pm-Midnight. The specials include $1 oysters and half-off the bar menu items. If you have not had their hummus, then this is a must try on your visit. Served with warm house made pita bread, the hummus is simply addictive. I really think they put something in there to keep me coming back (*I kid, I kid).
Besides having the best hummus I have tasted in a restaurant, the happy hour wine selection and prices at Tel’Veh are another reason to escape the cold temperatures for a night cap. Happy hour, anyone?
