Chicken Soup for the Soul is famously known for inspirational books, I even have a few in my personal collection. It is a wonderful surprise that they would introduce a food line with the same name. I’ve had the opportunity to sample three new products that soon will be available on the market and I am truly impressed. All of their products have real ingredients that you are able to identify on the label and no artificial ingredients or preservatives.

1. The Thai chicken broth is an awesome addition to your staple items. It has a subtle but flavorful taste that will enhance any Asian influenced dish. As someone that uses regular chicken broth in various recipes I would readily add this Thai broth to enhance the flavor of other dishes.

2. The tomato basil soup is a definite, but not overkill with basil, and a consistency that’s not too thick or thin. It’s perfect when paired with a grilled cheese sandwich.

3.  The three cheese pasta sauce is heavenly. I love cheese and I typically enjoy my pasta dishes with lots o’ cheese. Chicken Soup for the Soul pasta sauce is by far one of the best sauces I have tasted and it’s a simple sauce that doesn’t need any additional ingredients.

Overall, the Chicken Soup for the Soul food line is a very solid line.  Will I return as a customer?  I think #3 says it all.
