1. Bar Dupont’s 3rd Annual Oktoberfest, back by popular demand!  In true German tradition, the popular Dupont Circle bar will transform its beloved outdoor patio into a Biergarten serving German favorites like Paulaner Hefeweizen, Oktoberfest, & Pilsner as well as Spaten. Guests can enjoy German specialties from the grill like soft pretzels, sausages and mustards, and traditional garnishes. To accompany the Oktoberfest ambiance, live German bands Liab Und Schneid, The Polka Brothers and Continentals of Washington, DC will play on select days.

2. Celebrating 21 years of brewing more than 200 different styles of beer, Capitol City Brewing Company will host its Fourteenth Annual Mid-Atlantic Oktoberfest at The Village at Shirlington in Arlington on Saturday, October 5 from 12:00 noon – 7:00 p.m. (all beer taps close at 6:00 p.m.).

3.  Celebrate Hoppy Oktoberfest at the award-winning Mad Fox Brewing Company, Northern Virginia’s upscale brewpub, with an outdoor party that will take over Market Square on Saturday, September 28 from Noon until 6 pm. The event will extend the restaurant’s patio into the street and on Market Square, replicating the Munich festival grounds in downtown Falls Church, albeit on a smaller scale.  Small beer tents showcasing more than 30 craft beer selections and outdoor tables with seating will replace the traditional Festhalles, but the atmosphere will be no less jovial!
4.  From September 17th to October 31st, the intimate third floor Gallery of Trummer’s on Main will be transformed into an Austrian wine & beer tavern for an event playfully named TrummerFest. Owner and Mixologist Stefan Trummer grew up in Austria, and his roots will be on full display as the restaurant serves up remarkably traditional Austrian fare like his mother’s apple cake, traditional Austrian dishes, and unique sausages in honor of Oktoberfest.
