There was a time when Marylanders had to travel to Washington, D.C. or Northern Virginia to satisfy their appetite for some good, authentic Indian cuisine, but I can say with confidence that those days are gone now that Spice 6 Modern Indian has arrived at The Shops at Arts District Hyattsville. For a little more than a year now, they have been tempting their customers with an exotic spread of wraps, bowls, meats, kabobs, veggies, and much more. Their staple: Naan bread. It is baked fresh on an hourly basis in their traditional tandoori oven, and served in different forms in most of their courses.
Check out my latest video as I introduce you to the world of fast-casual Indian dining – Spice 6 Modern Indian style, and then make your way down to Hyattsville to experience the difference for yourself. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it!!

Spice-6 Modern Indian is so good, especially the naan.
Thanks Monica G! Louuvvee naan…
I agree Monica G.! The naan is so fresh and I really like it because it is not too heavy and doesn’t fill you up before you finish your meal. Nothing beats relaxing on the patio with a little nann pizza!
SO PRoud of my Cousin Renee! I am SO going to eat there this weekend 🙂 Love the video/recap and the interview!
Cool! An Indian Chipotle! I’m down!
Great press, Renee!
Been eating there since the day they opened, often once a week or more. Excellent, inexpensive, super good food!
So true! @Mark
