Fuel Your Happy Hour
Nothing beats a great happy hour and I only recently discovered what is now one of my fave spots. Though it has been in the District many years, I am now realizing why people like hanging out at Captiol City Brewing Company afterwork. Captiol City Brewing Company offers patrons a spacious atmosphere with plenty of flat screen televisions to watch the latest sports craze. There is a large circular bar which anchors the restaurant to give all patrons plenty of room to mingle. On my visit the restaurant hosted a tapping party and the featured drink was Fuel Beer, which I decided to give a try. The description was intriguing where the ingredients did not add up, so I had to try it to see if such a combination truly existed. The taste was very unique where they nailed creating a beer with a coffee undertone. A good beer, happy hour, and an entertaining atmosphere? Enough said. I will return. The beer paired alongside the Capitol City Wings with golden barbeque sauce was just what I needed for happy hour. On my next visit, I look forward to catching a game and beer at the bar while peering at the huge flat screens. Relax, Relate, Release.
