Fall Time Beer
I am not usually one to brag about beer, but I have found one that goes down smooth and is refreshing. I discovered this beer when I attended Capitol City Brewing Co’s Oktoberfest event. Since I am not a beer connoisseur, I initially found the selection overwhelming with over 100 tents offering various beers and products. As I navigated through the tents, I discovered each beer had a unique personality (yes, beer has personality!). My favorite beer sampled, tasted very similar to a beer/wine mixture. It is called Leinenkugel’s Lemon Berry Shandy. This was my first experience with a “flavored beer” and will not be my last. I am looking forward to attending next year to broaden my view of the beer world. It was a world I rarely visited, but now I might become a resident citizen.
