Taylor Gourmet is one of those places that allows you to have a guilt-free lunch that if you were anywhere else you would feel like you should hit the gym ASAP. What do I mean? Where else can you get salami, Capicola, Prosciutto and provolone cheese on one sandwich where you do not feel totally bloated after the meal?? Taylor has made it their business paradigm to feature Philly style hoagies with quality ingredients, which is why the sandwiches do not way you down versus some of the overprocessed versions we have in the city. Springing up in D.C.’s major neighborhoods, Taylor has become a mainstay for the Washingtonians lunch hoagie fix.

French, who still practices law, leads a team of three writers to cover the ever expanding Washington, DC food scene. French has been featured in print and television, appearing in Washingtonian Magazine and is a regular contributor to various local TV affiliates including WUSA 9, FOX 5 DC and WJLA (ABC Affiliate) News Channel 8.
