Today marks the beginning of a very important month: Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Last year, I participated in Pink Jams! Take a Bite Out of Breast Cancer by hosting a happy hour at a local restaurant. Pink Jams! Take a Bite Out of Breast Cancer is an outreach and fundraising campaign focused on educating the Washington, DC area about the importance of early detection and breast cancer awareness. This year I’m taking the happy hour over to Policy Restaurant & Lounge to raise awareness about breast cancer. Join me for a night of libations, food and awareness. Twenty-five percent (25%) of the proceeds will be donated to Pink Jams!
Where: Policy Restaurant & Lounge, 1904 14th Street NW, Washington, DC 20009 (202) 387-7654
