RIGHT AFTER THE WEEKEND…:
THE LIGHTHORSE TUESDAY BEER DINNER
On Tuesday, June 5, The Lighthorse will be having their monthly Tuesday Beer Dinner. This time, they’ll be teaming with Unibroue, an award-winning brewery out of Quebec. From the very beginning, Unibroue has carved out a special niche in the beer world with top quality products and a brand rooted deep in Quebec culture. It made history by becoming the first North American beer maker to use a brewing method inspired by the two-centuries-old tradition developed by Trappist monks in Europe—particularly in Belgium. Over the years, Unibroue has remained faithful to its origins even as it has grown to become an icon of the brewing world.
Chef Adam Stein was tasked with pairing dishes for the following beers: Blanche de Chambly, Ephemere Apple, Maudite, La Terrible and La Fin du Monde.
The Tuesday Beer Dinners work like this–the beers start flowing at 7:00 and the first course is sent out at about 7:10 after the brewery representative gives everyone a little back-story on the brewery and their products. Then, over the next 90 minutes or so, The Lighthorse will pour 4 more beers that are specifically matched to 4 more courses. At only $50 per person (not including tax and gratuity), it’s really one of the better offers out there. (That’s $10 per full course, people!)
Only 20 seats left to fill! Get your spot by emailing Dave. lighthorseprivatedining@gmail.com
