The holidays are over and that leaves alot of us with alot of gift cards. Lucky for those living in 2011, there is an App, of course, that can help you keep track of all the balances, trade one card for another, etc. SWAGG is a new free mobile app where users can manage all of their gift cards in one place. The real incentive, however, is that every time a user downloads the app, SWAGG will donate $1 to the non-profit organization Stand Up to Cancer (*up to $125,000) until December 31, 2011.
The 10th Annual Sugar and Champagne Festival takes place on February 1, 2011 @ the Ritz Carlton. Samples and entrees will be available from Marcel’s, Kushi, Red Hook Lobster Truck and DC Slices just to name a few. Tickets are $90 (*VIP $150) and did I mention you can bring your dog? More info here.
Wine and walking go together, right? Well Crystal City thinks so because they are hosting the 1K Wine Walk on February 26, 2011 (*2 pm-6 pm). The 1K Wine Walk is a tasting tour through the interior walkways of Crystal City featuring 30-40 different wines, light fare and photographs from finalists and youth category winners of FotoWeek DC.
