Cinco de Mayo. Yet another day of the year that should be a holiday. Actually, the day after Cinco de Mayo should be the holiday so everyone can sober up from all the alcohol consumption. Cinco de Mayo is the day that commemorates the Mexican army’s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of Mexican General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín (*http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinco_de_Mayo). It is also the day when the DMV’s best Tequila shots come out to play. Masa 14 will be celebrating with five different margarita flavors @ $5 a pop. The flavors include hibiscus, blueberry, tamarind, coconut and the signature house margarita. Plenty of tequila to go around on May 5, 2010 from 5 pm- 2am. Shot, shot, shot!!
