World Vegetarian Dayđ Today is a great day for vegetarians (*Not that they wouldn’t enjoy veggies any other day of the year…) and a time to celebrate the joys of a non-carnivore diet. Today is designated as a day to spread the word about the benefits of a vegetarian diet including health benefits, saving animal lives and in helping preserve our environment. But today does not end the party. Apparently, October is a great month to be a vegetarian with Vegetarian Awareness Month beginning today and ending on the 31 st. Good stuff for vegetarians all over the world, cheers to a good bowl of spinach and all the other veggies of the world!*A good vegetarian spot to check out in the District is Vegetate…veggies flood the menu…
