Simple Chalupa’s
6 tortillas
1 (14 oz.) black beans
6 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
Lettuce (grated)
1 1/2 cup salsa
1 (14 oz.) tomato chunks (drained)
Set the oven temperature to Warm (*or Low depending on your oven); heat the tortillas in the Warm oven. On a cookie sheet, lay the tortillas flat and top with the beans, then tomato, lettuce, salsa and cheese. Serve.
*Johnna’s tip: Chalupa made simple:-) These make great appetizers especially when you have a last minute engagement at the house. Add on other favorite’s such as shredded pork, onions and sour cream.
