Pecan Pie

3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup white syrup
1 1/2 cup pecans
1 unbaked pie shell (*can be found at your local grocery store)
1 can whipped cream

Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Beat the eggs and butter slightly; add in the syrup and sugar; beat until mixed well. Add in the vanilla and pecans; mix well. Pour into the pie shell. Bake until browned. Serve each slice with about a tbsp. whipped cream.

*Johnna’s tip: Pecan pie is a fast dessert you can whip up when having unexpected company that you might need to impress (i.e. the in-laws, co-workers, etc.) If you really want to comfort yourself, serve with some french vanilla ice cream;-)
